Please be aware of the following scam which the Met Police have had several reports of in the last week. 

The victim receives a phone call from someone claiming to be from Kingston Police. 

They state that they have someone in custody in possession of the victim's bank details/cards. 

They then remain on the line whilst the victim try's to call their bank, thus obtaining the victims details needed to commit a fraud. 

The police or banks will never cold call you to ask for personal bank details.
